Terms & Conditions

CONFIRMATION
All reservations require either a credit or debit card guarantee or prepaid deposit.


CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations are permitted without charge if received 48 hours prior to arrival. In the event of a late cancellation (within 48 days of arrival) or a no show, a charge of the full reservation will apply. Cancellations must be confirmed to the Hotel in writing and will only be confirmed after written acknowledgement by the Hotel to you with a cancellation number.
Advance Purchase rates, offers and promotions may be subject to their own T&Cs.


CHECK-IN
Rooms are guaranteed to be ready by 3pm, however you are welcome to arrive earlier, and we can arrange to have your luggage stored.


CHECK-OUT
Check-out time is 11.00am. Late check-out may be available upon request, however cannot be guaranteed. A late checkout fee of £30 per hour will apply.


PETS
Dog friendly rooms are available at an additional cost of £30 which covers the duration of your stay. One dog is permitted per room. Please contact our Reception Team for further information on hello@theleddie.com

 

SMOKING POLICY
There is a No Smoking No Vaping policy throughout the Hotel. Should guests smoke in a bedroom the Hotel will charge for an additional night’s stay (a minimum of £100) as contribution to the cost of out booking new arrivals and/or the cost of fumigating the bedroom.


CHILDREN
Children are welcome in our Restaurant/Bar and lounge until 9pm each evening. In consideration of other guests, and for their own safety, we kindly request that children remain supervised by an adult at all times. Cots are available free of charge. An additional bed for children can be accommodated in certain Deluxe, Junior Suite and Cottage Suite bedrooms. An additional charge of £30 per night applies, which includes breakfast. FOOD & BEVERAGE
We offer dining and drinking options in our Restaurant/Bar & Lounge for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

 

USE OF OUR CAR PARK
The car park is available for use by residents and visitors, on a first-come, first-served basis. We kindly ask for guests to observe speed limits when driving on the premises. Guests must register their vehicle at the front desk upon check-in by giving their license plate number. The Leddie accepts no liability for loss, theft or damage to vehicles or their contents whilst parked on our premises. Vehicles and their contents are left at the owners risk. It is the responsibility of the vehicle owner to ensure their car is locked and valuables are removed from sight.

 

CCTV
CCTV is used around our premises for the safety and security of our guests and their vehicles, however this does not constitute acceptance of liability for loss or damage.

 

DAMAGE AND LOSS
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property, furnishings or equipment whether intentional or accidental during their stay. The hotel reserves the right to charge the cost of repair or replacement for any damages or loss caused by a guest. Charges will be based on the value of the lost or damaged item with any associated repair costs. Guests are kindly asked not to remove Hotel property including towels, linen, furnishings or equipment. Missing items will be charged to the guest’s bill for the replacement cost.

 

LOST PROPERTY
Guests are responsible for safeguarding their belongings during their stay. The Leddie is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Any found items will be kept for 3 months, and can be claimed in person, or returned by post at the guest’s expense.

 

PAYMENT METHODS

Cash, VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Maestro are accepted. Kindly note, we cannot accept cash payments for Hotel room reservations as prepayment is required a minimum of 48 hours prior to your arrival.

 

SERVICE CHARGE

A discretionary 10% service charge will be added to your final bill for dining reservations.

 

MODERN SLAVERY ACT STATEMENT
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes The Leddie modern slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31st March 2025.
We are committed to monitoring our practices to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in any part of our business or in any of our supply chains. Our policy is that we will act ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and will implement and enforce effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our operation.
